Satin is made from pure cotton with a satin weave, so the canvas is quite easy to confuse with silk due to its external resemblance. The canvas is shiny, smooth on the outside, and matte and slightly rough on the inside. This effect is achieved thanks to the satin weave of the threads. This technique is based on a dense thread, and a thinner thread is twisted and laid on the front side so that there are 4 threads in the warp, and only 1 thread in the weft. The intensity of the shine depends on the strength of the twisting of the threads, the more twist, the brighter the shine. The fabric is strong and resistant to physical stress due to the addition of diagonally arranged threads to the weave.

Cotton fibers of satin have hypoallergenic properties. Like all natural fabrics, satin is breathable, that is, it does not create a "greenhouse" effect on the skin, which is especially appreciated in the warm season. For the production of satin, combed yarn of long-staple cotton is used. Thanks to a uniform, strong twist, the fabrics are light, smooth, thin and shiny.
